The Lone Bellow is a band that we've already mentioned twice on Speakers in Code. They were one of our most anticipated albums of 2013 and a band that was on our radar for SXSW this year. Of all their songs, "You Can Be All Kinds Of Emotional" is my favorite. It captures the spirit of their sound so perfectly and the lyrics are incredibly relatable to anyone who's experienced the side of a relationship where you give each other the permission to just get real and honest. There's also tinges of sadness, but in a very good "it's all going to be OK way"......... My favorite kind.

Jam Of The Day | The Little Ones - Argonauts
Today I bring you .......... The Little Ones! This SoCal band's latest album 'The Dawn Sang Along' is so full of infectious pop melodies that it feels like confetti is shooting out of my soul this morning. Give their song 'Argonauts' a listen and then do me a huge favor and find their track 'Catch The Movement' on this same album.
Thank me later. xo

Jam of the Day | Jim James - A New Life
I'm jamming to Jim today and his new solo record that was just released this week. What a treat that I get to share my favorite song on the album with you. "A New Life" has sucked me in completely. It builds like a great and epic idea forming in your head, and I also hear tinges of a 50s rock love song. Enjoy.
